To Our Patients at Orchidia Medical Group,
We hope that you and your families are staying safe during this challenging season in our community and our country. Our patients and our staff are so valuable to us. During this time, we want what is best for our patients and what is best for our team. We are planning to open May 11th, 2020, with the proper precautions to ensure the safety for our patients and our staff. We would like to welcome all patients back to Orchidia Medical Group, and we are actively booking appointments.
Your safety and well-being are very importance to us, so we would like for you to be mindful of some new appointment protocols we have established to ensure that the highest standards of quality care are being met during your visit:
Upon arrival to the office, all patients will be screened by having their temperature taken. Patients will be asked the following questions:
- Have you had or currently have any symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath in the last 14 days?
- Have you been in contact or exposed to anyone with the Coronavirus?
- Have you been out of the country, or traveled domestically or on a cruise in the last 14 days?
You will be provided with hand sanitizer upon entrance into the office. Guests/Visitors with you should stay outside in their air-conditioned vehicle or they may also utilize the covered seating area just outside of the building. We will provide your guest(s) with cold water. Due to the shortage of face masks in the healthcare industry, we ask that you bring one for your protection. If you do not have a face mask, we will provide one for you. Our lobby seating has been modified to abide by social distancing requirements. Cleanliness is crucial in all that we do. As a medical practice, we must adhere to the strictest recommendations provided by the CDC, CDHP, and other local authorities. All patient waiting rooms and restrooms are continuously disinfected throughout the day. Our staff and doctors will rotate every week to decrease risk of transmission and ensure your appointments.
If you are not feeling well, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. Please do so as soon as possible so our team can adjust our appointment schedule accordingly. We know these appointments can be something patients look forward to and having to reschedule can be disappointing. However, we promise we will get you on the books when you are better. Our team is crucial to our success. If our team members are not feeling well, they have been asked to stay home. We know that this may mean rescheduling appointments, and that can be frustrating. We will do our best to fit you with a different provider or on a different date that suits your schedule. We appreciate your flexibility.
We know this is a stressful and unpredictable time – we will get through this together!
Orchidia Medical Group considers it our privilege to care for your overall health needs! We thank you for your cooperation as we implement these important changes, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
